Trivia:

"Across This Antheap" was originally intended for Skylarking.

The "Ermine Street" sung about in "Chalkhills and Children" is in reality the Roman road that ran from a point near Pevensey, East Essex, to York, passing through London and Lincoln.

"Gangway, Electric Guitar Is Coming Through," originally written for Skylarking, was considered again for Oranges & Lemons and included in the demo tape sent to Paul Fox prior to the recording of the album. However, it is not certain whether that was the same version as the Skylarking version sent to Todd Rundgren.

"My Train Is Coming," the song Andy originally wrote for the film Buster, which was rejected by Phil Collins, was recorded with Mike Kennearlly (guitarist with Frank Zappa's band) during the Oranges & Lemons sessions, but was left unfinished without vocals.
