"No Thugs in Our House" is an edit version of the track from the album English Settlement, and the third and last single taken from the album. "Chain of Command" and "Limelight" were previously released on a single. "Over Rusty Water" appeared here for the first time.

"Over Rusty Water" produced by XTC. Based on the synthesiser parts from "Roads Girdle the Globe," which was originally recorded during the Drums and Wires sessions.

A promotional film was produced for "No Thugs in Our House," combining the sound of the record with the image of the band's appearance on The Old Grey Whistle Test stage where they performed the song.
